Union Minister Amit Shah gave an advice to AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi yesterday (Monday) during a discussion on NIA ammendment bill that seeks to strengthen the organisation by empowering it to investigate offences committed outside India against Indian citizens.
Amit Shah told Owaisi “Learn to listen Owaisi sahab, this will not work” after AIMIM MP Owaisi objected to a part of BJP MP Satya Pal Singh’s speech during the discussion on the amendment of NIA bill.
Moving the NIA amendment bill for consideration and passage in the House, G Kishan Reddy (Minister of State for Home) said that terrorism is a serious and dangerous problem and senior leaders have been victims.
Reddy further said that the new law will empower NIA (National Investigation Agency) to investigate cases of terrorism targeting Indian and Indian assets abroad. He added, “we want to fight terrorism with zero tolerance & have bought this bill in national interest. I pray to all of you for its passage”.
