As per the Police, a Texas man who had been missing for months has been eaten completely by his own pack of 18 dogs.
According to Johnson County Sherrif’s office, a medical examiner said that DNA testing revealed that pieces of bones recovered from dog’s feces were those of Fredrick Mack who was 57-year-old.
Sherrif’s deputy Aaron Pitts said that 18 mixed breed dogs ate Mack’s whole body, his hair & clothing, leaving nothing larger that 3-5 inches bone fragments. Deputy Aaron Pitts further said, “we have never ever heard of an entire human being consumed. The bones of Mark,57, were completely broken up and eaten”.
Another sherrif Adam King said, “Mark had serious health problems and it is unclear whether dogs killed their owner or ate his body after he died from medical condition. Either way, it is a very gruesome event and we extend out sympathy to Fredrick Mack’s family”.
In May, one of Mack’s relatives reported that Mack was missing from his home near Venus a community of around 4000 people about 50 kms southwest of Dallas. He further told that the family had not heard about him since mid-April.
According to the Police, the aggressive family stopped Mack’s family and deputies from entering Mack’s property. The dogs initially posed problems for deputies, but eventually they were able to look around by keeping the dogs away with the help of distration method. Deputies also told that Mack cared for his animals and always kept them well fed.
