Terrorist organisation AL Qaeda’s Chief Ayman al-Zawahiri has released a video in which he has called for “Mujahideen in Kashmir” to inflict “unrelenting blows” on the India Army.
Zawahiri has also discussed Pakistan’s involvement in fuellng cross-border terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir in his message titled “Don’t Forget Kashmir,” released by As Shabab.
Zawahiri in this video said, “In my opinion, Mujahideen in Kashmir, at this stage, should single-mindedly focus on inflicting unrelenting blows on the Indian Army and government so as to bleed Indian economy and make India suffer sustained losses in manpower and equipment”.
In the latest threat video of Zawahiri, Zakir Musa’s photo flashed on the screen while he was talking about “Mujahideen in Kashmir”. Although, he did not talk about Zakir Musa in the video. Zakir Musa was the founder of Indian cell of Al Qaeda titled “Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind”. Zakir Musa was kille din May 2019 by security forces in Kashmir.
Zawahiri, in his video, also claimed that the “fight in Kashmir” is not a separate conflict but instead is part of the worldwide Muslim community’s “jihad against a vast array of security forces”. He called on “unnamed” scholars to spread this message.
A Home Ministry official said that “there was drop in number of terrorist attacks in Kashmir and rise in number of terrorist killing by security forces. The video has been made with an intent to motivate terrorist cadres in Kashmir”.
